外資系の国際大手銀国のＨＳＢＣインド法人では現在までの５年間ＣＥＯ兼Ｄｅｐｕｔｙ ＣＥＯを勤めてきたＫｉｄｗａｉ女子が昇進し、インド事業の最高責任者のＣｏｕｎｔｒｙ Ｈｅａｄ兼Ｇｒｏｕｐ Ｇｅｎｅｒａｌ Ｍａｎａｇｅｒに着任しました。オーストラリアのＨＳＢＣ現ＣＥＯのＳｔｕａｒｔ ＤａｖｉｓさんがＫｉｄｗａｉ女子の後任に入り、Ｋｉｄｗａｉ女子への報告体制に変わります。女子は長年インド金融界で存在の大きな女性の銀行家の一人として知られ、以前インドモルガンスタンレーのインド責任者をしてきました。つい先週インド国内最大民間銀行のＩＣＩＣＩ銀行の最高責任者にＫｏｃｈａｒ女子が昇進したニュースに次ぎます（以下「関連情報」を参照）。金融界でキャリアを目指すインドの若い女性の間でトップを目指す人にとってはこういった女性の方々がインスピレーションにもなります。ＨＳＢＣ市場にとってインド市場はますます成長する見込みの、現在のそのグローバル的利益内の７％がインドから発生し、今後はより大きい成長が見込まれています。

HSBC On Thursday announced the appointment of Naina Lal Kidwai as country head and group general manager of HSBC India. Before this, she was the group general manager and chief executive officer (CEO) at the bank.
